We recently published the full nuclear and mitochondrial genomes of a new lobose amoeba species that belongs to Rhizaria, which we called Lemnamoeba sinaloensis. The nuclear genome is a high-quality, chromosome-level genome from one of the poorest known supergroups of eukaryotes. This paper highlights the complexity of eukaryotic genomes in underexplored parts of the tree of life. OA paper here.
